Welcome To Cape 912

Preserving Our Constitution Cape912 Logo

In 2010, Cape 912 chose to focus on programs to educate students in our Founding Documents. Working in partnership with the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, a successful pilot for the Constitution Essay Program was completed at Diplomat Middle School. Today that program is available in all public middle schools in Lee County where we distribute approximately 6,000 Constitutions to middle school students each year.

Other programs we are involved in:

  • Read Across America – Constitution for 4th and 5th grade students
  • Bronze Sponsor for The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools providing Lee County Public School student grants based on the United States Constitution
  • Attending community events to promote the Founding Documents for both students and the general public

We welcome people to join us as organizers, program developers, readers, speakers, or other roles to help educate children and the community.
